Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the AmpereFlow mobile application ("App") operated by Androxus ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AmpereFlow, you agree to:

  • All applicable laws and regulations

2. Description of Service

AmpereFlow is an Android application that:

  • Monitors your phone's battery and charging status, and displays live current, voltage, temperature and estimated charging wattage
  • Estimates battery health, capacity, and charge and discharge time from data available on your device
  • Provides a customisable Always On Display and full-screen charging animation
  • Keeps a history of charging and discharge sessions, and per-app screen-time usage
  • Provides home-screen widgets showing battery and charging information

The App is a monitoring and estimation tool. It reads information your phone's own battery controller and Android make available; it does not control, accelerate or otherwise change how your phone actually charges.

3. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own use, subject to these Terms.

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App, except where that restriction is prohibited by law
  • Redistribute, sell, lease or sublicense the App
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose

4. Accuracy of battery and charging information

Battery percentage, current, wattage, voltage, temperature, health, capacity and charge-time figures shown in the App are estimates, calculated from sensor data your phone's hardware and Android report. Sensor availability, precision and reporting conventions vary between phone manufacturers and models, and figures may be less accurate on a phone model our correction service does not yet recognise. Comparisons with other devices, such as "Charge at Each Battery Level" or Charging Insights, reflect data reported by other AmpereFlow users' devices and are not manufacturer specifications or a guarantee of your own device's performance.

5. Permissions and device access

Some features require Android permissions or special access, including display-over-other-apps, Notification Access and Usage Access. You choose whether to grant each one, and you may revoke it at any time in Android Settings; only the feature that depends on it stops working.

6. Free and Pro

The App is available at no cost with a limited set of widgets and styles, and is supported by advertising shown inside the App's own screens. AmpereFlow Pro unlocks additional widgets, charging-meter and stat-row styles, battery health insights and media player controls, and removes advertising.

  • AmpereFlow Pro is offered as an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase
  • Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play, not by us
  • A subscription renews automatically at the price you agreed to until you cancel it; you can manage or cancel a subscription at any time from the Google Play Store app
  • Refunds are governed by the Google Play refund policy
  • We may change the features included in Free or Pro, with notice through app updates
  • Advertising is provided by Google AdMob and its mediation partners; ad personalisation is subject to your consent. See the Privacy Policy

7. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. Features that depend on Android APIs, phone-manufacturer behaviour or third-party services may stop working if those change. We are not liable for such changes.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error free, or compatible with every device, phone brand or Android version, or that any battery, charging or health estimate is accurate for your specific device.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Androxus is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Androxus harmless from any claim arising out of your misuse of the App or your breach of these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
