Privacy Policy¶

Thank you for using Flow GPS Map Camera (the "App"), published by Androxus TECH LLP ("Androxus," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what the App does with your information, what it sends to other services, and what you can switch off.
Overview¶
Flow GPS Map Camera stamps your photos and videos with where and when they were taken. We built it so that your photos, videos and the location stamped on them stay on your device.
The short version:
- Your photos, videos and reports stay on your device. We don't receive them. They leave your phone only when you share them
- Location is used for the stamp. To show the address and the map, your coordinates are sent to Google. Weather fields, which are off by default, send them to OpenWeather
- Your location is written into the saved photo (the visible stamp and the photo's GPS metadata), so anyone you share it with can see where it was taken
- Only the camera permission is required. Location and microphone are optional, and approximate location works
- The free version shows ads through Google AdMob, after asking for consent where the law requires it. Buying Pro stops all ad requests
- Analytics and crash reports go to Google Firebase, to help us improve the App and fix crashes
- No accounts, no sign-in, and we run no server that receives your photos, videos or location

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we don't use your photos, videos or anything you type for advertising.
Permissions¶
You can use the App with only the camera permission (plus storage on Android 9 and older, where saving to the gallery needs it). You can change any permission at any time in Android Settings → Apps → Flow GPS Map Camera → Permissions.

The App uses location only while it's open. It never uses background location. It doesn't ask for broad access to your photo library: when you pick photos or files, Android's system picker gives the App only the items you choose.
What stays on your device¶
Photos, videos and audio¶
Photos and videos are processed on your device and saved to your gallery (the GPSMapCamera folder), with a copy of photos in the App's own storage. If you turn on Save Original Photos, a copy without the stamp is saved as well. Videos include sound only if you allowed microphone access. We don't receive your photos, videos or audio.
Photos and videos taken with the front camera are saved as they look in the preview (mirrored), so the stamp reads the right way round.
Location in the stamp and in your files¶
When location access is on, the App reads your device's location to stamp the address, coordinates, map, date and time, time zone, altitude and accuracy. If you choose a saved location instead, that place is used.
The location is also written into the saved photo as GPS metadata (EXIF). Anyone you share a photo with may see where it was taken, both in the stamp and in the file. To avoid this, turn off location access or remove the metadata before sharing.
Sensors¶
The compass and level use your device's motion sensors, and the sound level uses the microphone. These readings are processed on your device. Only the value shown in the stamp becomes part of your photo or video; no audio is stored for the sound level.
Text and settings you enter¶
Names, contact numbers, custom text, saved locations, folder names, file-naming patterns, PDF report details (company, title, supervisor, project, remarks and so on) and a copy of the report logo you pick are stored in the App's private storage and used only for the stamp, file names and reports.
QR code detection¶
QR code detection is off by default. When you turn it on, camera frames are analysed on your device by Google's ML Kit to find QR codes. Images are not sent to Google or to us. If a QR code contains a link and you choose to open it, it opens in another app.
PDF reports¶
Reports are created on your device from photos you choose, and saved or shared where you choose. We don't receive them. To show each photo's address, the App reads the GPS location stored in the photo and looks it up as described under Address lookup.
Android backup¶
If Android backup is on for your Google account, Android may back up the App's settings, saved locations and folders to your Google account, under Google's terms. Your purchase status and first-run information are excluded. Photos and videos in your gallery are not part of the App's backup. We can't access Android backups.
Services the App uses¶
Address lookup (Google)¶
To turn coordinates into a street address, the App uses Android's geocoding service, which Google provides on most devices. The coordinates of your location, of a saved place, or stored in photos you add to a report are sent to Google for this. See the Google Privacy Policy.
Maps (Google Maps SDK for Android)¶
The maps in the stamp, the photo map and the location screens come from the Google Maps SDK for Android. Showing a map requests map data for that area from Google, which reveals the area to Google. The Maps SDK also collects device identifiers, usage and diagnostic information. See the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Weather (OpenWeather)¶
The temperature, wind, humidity and pressure fields are off by default. If you turn one on, the App sends your coordinates (with our API key, not any identifier of yours) to OpenWeather over HTTPS to get the current weather. See the OpenWeather Privacy Policy.
Advertising (Google AdMob)¶
The free version shows ads through Google AdMob: a banner on the camera screen, full-screen ads at natural breaks (for example after some photos are saved, or when you return to the App), and optional reward ads you choose to watch. Full-screen ads are never shown while you're recording a video.
To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares with Google your advertising ID, your IP address (from which an approximate location can be derived), device and app information, and your interactions with ads. Where you have consented, or where consent isn't required, Google may use this to personalise ads. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
We ask for ads suitable for a teen audience and don't treat users as children for advertising.
If you buy Flow GPS Map Camera Pro, the App stops requesting ads and doesn't start the ads SDK.
Consent for ads (Google User Messaging Platform)¶
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and other places where the law requires it, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform to ask for your consent before ads use your data. No ads are requested before your choice is known. You can review or change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy settings (the row appears where a choice applies).
Your choice is also passed to Firebase Analytics. Until it's known, Analytics runs with analytics and advertising storage denied. With Pro, no ads are requested and Analytics is told not to use your data for advertising, whatever you chose.
Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics)¶
Firebase Analytics helps us understand how the App is used. It collects:
- events such as screens opened, the upgrade screen being shown or closed, the plan selected, and whether a purchase succeeded, was cancelled, is pending or failed
- automatically collected information such as an app-instance ID, device model, Android version, app version, language, country (derived from your IP address), first-open time and engagement time
- purchase events reported by Google Play (product and price, never your payment details)
Analytics never receives your photos, videos, precise location or anything you type. Data is kept for the retention period set in our Firebase project, at most 14 months. See Privacy and security in Firebase.
Crash reporting (Google Firebase Crashlytics)¶
When the App crashes or hits certain errors, Crashlytics sends a report so we can fix it. A report contains the error and stack trace, device model, Android version, app version, available memory and storage, orientation, the time and a Crashlytics installation ID. For camera errors it adds which camera and mode were in use; for purchase errors, the error code and product. We never add your location, photos or typed text. Crashlytics keeps reports for up to 90 days.
ML Kit (Google)¶
ML Kit's barcode scanner runs on your device. It may send Google limited information about how the scanner performs, such as device and app information and performance metrics, never camera images. See the ML Kit Terms.
Purchases (Google Play Billing)¶
Flow GPS Map Camera Pro is sold through Google Play, which processes your payment; we never receive your card or payment details. The App receives purchase information from Google Play (product, purchase time, status, order ID and a purchase token) to unlock, verify and restore Pro. With each purchase the App gives Google Play a pseudonymous identifier (a one-way hash of a random value created at install) to help detect fraud.
Sharing you start¶
When you use Location Share, a share button or a report's Share option, the App hands the photo, video or report to the app you pick, with a Google Maps link to the location and a link to the App on Google Play. That app's privacy policy applies from then on.
Links and support email¶
Links in the App (Rate app, our other apps, social pages, these policies) open in other apps or your browser, under their own policies. If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write, and use them only to reply and fix the problem.
Other disclosures¶
We may disclose information if the law or a valid legal request requires it, to protect the rights, property or safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply.
Your advertising ID¶
You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (on some devices Settings → Google → Ads). After deletion the ads SDK can no longer use it, and ads may become less relevant.
Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)¶
- Contract: providing the features you use, and selling, verifying and restoring Pro
- Consent: personalised advertising and storing or reading information on your device for advertising, where required; location, camera and microphone access, which you grant and can withdraw in Android Settings
- Legitimate interests: non-personalised ads that keep the free version free, analytics to improve the App, crash reporting to keep it stable, and fraud prevention. You can object as described under Your choices and rights
- Legal obligation: where the law requires us to keep or disclose information

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal information, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email support@androxus.com.
Because the App has no accounts, we can't find analytics or crash data by your name. We may ask for the App's Firebase app-instance ID, and explain how to find it, then act on your request, including deleting the analytics data linked to it. For data Google holds under its own responsibility, such as advertising data, use Google's controls at myaccount.google.com. We reply within the time the law requires, normally one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
United States state privacy rights¶
We don't sell personal information for money. In the free version, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects device identifiers, IP address and ad-interaction data (see Advertising). Some state laws may treat this as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising or "targeted advertising". To opt out, use Settings → Privacy settings where available, reset or delete your advertising ID, or buy Pro. You can also email us to exercise access, deletion or correction rights, and we won't discriminate against you for doing so. Precise location is used only to provide the features you ask for, never to infer characteristics about you.
Children's Privacy¶
The App is not directed at children. It's intended for users aged 13 and older (or the minimum age in your country). We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, email us and we'll delete it.
Security¶
The App talks to the services above over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and what it stores on your device is protected by Android's app sandbox. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
International transfers¶
Google and OpenWeather may process information in other countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom and EU countries. Where the law requires it, these transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions, as described in those providers' policies.
Changes to this Privacy Policy¶
We may update this policy when the App or the law changes. We'll update the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the App or on its Google Play page before they take effect.
