Welcome to the official documentation for Flow GPS Map Camera, an Android camera that stamps your photos and videos with where and when they were taken: the address, coordinates, date and time, and a live map.

What is Flow GPS Map Camera?

Flow GPS Map Camera adds a location stamp to every photo and video you take. The stamp is saved inside the image or video, and the location is also written into the photo's GPS metadata. Use it to document site visits, inspections, deliveries, field work, property condition, construction progress, travel and everyday moments. There's no account and no sign-in.

Key Features

  • GPS location stamp - address, coordinates in decimal or degrees-minutes-seconds, date and time, and time zone
  • Live map on the stamp - normal, satellite, terrain or hybrid, with adjustable map scale
  • 15 stamp templates - 4 included, 11 more with Pro, including social story styles, a compass layout and a scannable location QR stamp
  • More details - altitude, GPS accuracy, compass direction, sound level, country flag, a name and contact numbers, or your own text
  • Weather on the stamp - temperature, wind, humidity and pressure, when available
  • Stamped videos - pause and resume, and take stamped snapshots while recording
  • Full camera controls - front and back camera, zoom, flash and torch, timer, grid, level, aspect ratio, white balance, touch to focus or capture, volume-button capture

Quick Start

  1. Install Flow GPS Map Camera from Google Play and open it. On your home screen its icon is labelled Camera GPS Map
  2. Pick your language
  3. Allow camera access. Allow location too if you want the address and map on the stamp; approximate location works
  4. Tap the shutter to take a stamped photo, or switch to VIDEO to record
  5. Tap Template to change the stamp's style, and Settings for the date, location format and more

Requirements

  • Android 7.0 or later
  • Camera access (required)
  • Location access for the address, coordinates and map (optional)
  • An internet connection for the address, map and weather. Coordinates and the time work offline
