Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the AOD Flow mobile application ("App") operated by Androxus ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AOD Flow, you agree to:

  • These Terms of Service
  • Our Privacy Policy
  • All applicable laws and regulations

2. Description of Service

AOD Flow is an Android application that:

  • Shows a customisable always-on display clock as an overlay on your lock screen
  • Shows notification icons and media playback controls on that overlay, where you turn them on
  • Provides home screen widgets showing a matching clock
  • Provides quick torch and camera shortcuts, burn-in protection, pocket detection, and scheduling and dimming controls for the always-on display

3. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own use, subject to these Terms.

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App, except where that restriction is prohibited by law
  • Redistribute, sell, lease or sublicense the App
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose

4. Permissions and device access

Some features require Android permissions, including Display over other apps and notification access. You choose whether to grant them, and you may revoke them at any time in Android Settings; doing so only disables the specific feature that needed them.

5. Notifications, media info and lock screen privacy

When you turn on notification icons or media playback controls, that information is visible on your lock screen to anyone who can see your phone's screen, including while it's otherwise locked. You are responsible for deciding whether to enable these features, and for your own device's lock screen and notification-privacy settings.

6. Screen wear and battery use

Keeping a display lit for extended periods, including through an always-on display, uses extra battery and can contribute to image retention or burn-in on OLED/AMOLED screens over time. The App provides settings such as scheduling, dimming, timeouts and burn-in protection to help manage this, but we do not guarantee they eliminate battery drain or long-term screen wear.

7. Free and Pro

The App is available at no cost with a free selection of clock, font, colour, template and widget designs, and is supported by advertising shown inside the App's own screens. AOD Flow Pro unlocks the Premium designs, unlocks the swipe-to-change-clock gesture, and removes advertising.

  • Purchases are processed by Google Play, not by us
  • Refunds are governed by the Google Play refund policy
  • We may change the features included in Free or Pro, with notice through app updates
  • Advertising is provided by Google AdMob, with Meta Audience Network as a mediation partner, and is subject to your consent where required. See the Privacy Policy

8. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. Features that depend on Android APIs or third-party services may stop working if those services change. We are not liable for such changes.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error free, or compatible with every device or Android version. The App displays information such as charging status and battery percentage; it does not control or alter your device's actual charging behaviour.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Androxus is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Androxus harmless from any claim arising out of your misuse of the App or your breach of these Terms.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
