Privacy Policy¶

Thank you for using AOD Flow (the "App"), provided by Androxus ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what the App collects, what it does not, and what you can switch off.
Overview¶
AOD Flow shows ads and uses Firebase to understand how the App is used, and to catch crashes. It does not read the text of your notifications, and it does not use your camera or microphone.
The short version:
- Your notifications - the App reads which app posted a notification and that app's icon, never the title or text
- Analytics is on by default in the App you install from Google Play, and records app-usage, purchase and pocket-detection sensor events, never notification content
- Ads never appear on the AOD screen itself or in home screen widgets. Only in the app's own screens
- Ads are off entirely for Pro users
- No accounts, no sign-in
- Your clock style, colours, widget designs and every other setting stay on your device

Opening a tutorial later plays the saved clip, fetching any part that hadn't finished downloading from the same address; if nothing was saved, it plays a generic video that doesn't name your manufacturer.
Nothing on this list is the text of your notifications, your camera, your microphone, or anything typed into the App.
Advertising¶
The App shows ads from Google AdMob, using Meta Audience Network (Facebook) as a mediation partner, in these places: an app-open ad when you return to the App, a banner on the Home tab, a banner in the exit-confirmation dialog, and an interstitial ad after you close the AOD preview.
Ads never appear:
- On the always-on display screen itself
- In the home screen widgets
- For Pro users
Consent. Where required by your region, such as the EEA and UK, the App shows Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form on launch, so you can choose whether to allow personalised advertising. The Mobile Ads SDK starts when the App starts, and on the Free version an ad can load before you've responded to that form. When you consent, AdMob and its mediation partners may receive your advertising ID, device and app information, IP address, and your interactions with ads, and may use them to personalise the ads you see. If you don't consent, you may still see non-personalised ads. See the Google Privacy Policy, how Google uses data from partner apps, and Meta's Privacy Policy.
Buying Pro removes ads entirely.
Analytics¶
The App uses Firebase Analytics. Unlike some of our other apps, analytics in AOD Flow is on by default in the version you install from Google Play, rather than waiting for a consent choice.
Analytics events fall into these groups:

Firebase also derives standard information such as an app instance identifier, device model, operating system version, and approximate country from your IP address.
None of this includes the text of your notifications, what's shown on someone else's device, your contacts, your files, or any personally identifying information.
Crash reporting¶
The App uses Firebase Crashlytics to record crashes and handled errors. A crash report contains the stack trace, device model, operating system version and app state at the time. It does not contain your notifications or anything you've typed.
Crash reporting is not currently exposed as a user-facing toggle. If you would prefer not to send crash reports, contact us.
Remote configuration¶
The App uses Firebase Remote Config to fetch a small number of feature flags, such as which rating-prompt flow to use. It's fetched roughly once an hour and sends no personal information.
Purchases¶
If you buy AOD Flow Pro, the transaction is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see or receive your payment details. The App verifies your entitlement with Play when you open it. See the Google Play Privacy Policy.

Notification access¶
Two optional features need Android's notification listener permission: Show Notifications on AOD and Show Media Player Controls, both in Look & Feel. Turning either one on prompts you to grant notification access; decline it, and the toggle turns itself back off.
What it reads:
- Which apps currently have an active notification, and that app's icon, so the AOD can show a row of app icons
- The metadata of whatever is playing through Android's media session — track title, artist and album art — and its playback state, so the App can show and control it
What it does not read: the title or text of your notifications. The App reads which app posted a notification and its icon, not what the notification says.
None of this is sent anywhere; it's used only to draw the AOD screen and update it live on your device. If you never turn on these two toggles, the App never asks for notification access.
Display over other apps¶
AOD Flow needs Android's Display over other apps system permission to show the always-on display as a full-screen overlay on top of your lock screen. Without it, Start on the Home tab won't turn the AOD on.
This permission only lets the App draw its own screen on top of others; it does not let the App see or interact with any other app's screen.
What's stored on your device¶
Your clock style, colours, fonts, template and widget choices, AOD timing and schedule, and every other setting are stored in the App's own storage on your device, using Android's standard preferences system. None of it is uploaded anywhere. Uninstalling the App, or clearing its data in Android Settings, removes all of it.
Data we do not collect¶
To be explicit, AOD Flow does not collect, store off device, or transmit to us:
- The title or text of your notifications
- Anything captured by a camera or microphone — the App does not use either
- Your contacts, files or photos
- Precise location
- Your name, email address or any account identity — there is no sign-in or account in AOD Flow

We hold no account system and no user database, so there is no personal profile of you for us to export or erase directly. The one service we run ourselves serves the permission-tutorial videos described above and stores nothing about you. Data held by Google or Meta as a result of ads, analytics or crash reporting is subject to their own controls.
Children's Privacy¶
AOD Flow is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
Changes to this Privacy Policy¶
We may update this Privacy Policy. Significant changes will be reflected here and in the release notes on Google Play. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised.
