Welcome to the official documentation for Action Notch, an app that turns your phone's notch or camera cutout into a customisable touch shortcut.

What is Action Notch?

Action Notch places an invisible touch area around your notch or camera cutout. Tap it, double tap it, long press it, or swipe it, and it runs whatever action you've assigned — opening an app, taking a screenshot, controlling media, toggling a setting, and dozens more.

Quick Start

  1. Install Action Notch from Google Play and open it
  2. Turn on Accessibility Service when prompted — this is what lets Action Notch detect touches on the notch
  3. Assign an action to Single Touch, Double Touch or Long Touch from the Home screen
  4. Touch the notch to try it
