Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the AudioPay mobile application ("App") operated by Androxus ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AudioPay, you agree to:

  • These Terms of Service
  • Our Privacy Policy
  • All applicable laws and regulations

If you are using the App on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

AudioPay is a mobile application that:

  • Detects UPI payment notifications
  • Announces received amounts using text-to-speech
  • Maintains local transaction history
  • Generates UPI QR codes
  • Provides optional cloud sync and team features (Premium)

3. Eligibility

To use AudioPay, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years of age
  • Have a compatible Android device (Android 8.0+)
  • Not be prohibited from using the App under applicable law

4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Creation

Creating an account is optional. You may use core features without signing in. To access Premium features, you must sign in with a Google account.

4.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account
  • All activities under your account
  • Notifying us of any unauthorized access

4.3 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time by:

  • Signing out from the App
  • Contacting support to request data deletion

We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Premium Subscription

5.1 Subscription Terms

  • Premium is a recurring subscription (monthly or yearly)
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled
  • Prices may vary by region and are displayed in Google Play

5.2 Billing

  • Billing is handled by Google Play
  • Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase
  • Renewal charges occur 24 hours before the current period ends

5.3 Cancellation

  • Cancel anytime through Google Play subscription settings
  • Access continues until the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds for partial periods

5.4 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Google Play per their refund policy.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the App for illegal purposes
  • Attempt to reverse engineer the App
  • Interfere with the App's operation
  • Circumvent security measures
  • Create fake transactions or manipulate data
  • Resell or redistribute the App
  • Use the App to spam or harass others

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Ownership

AudioPay and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by Androxus and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or business purposes in accordance with these Terms.

7.3 Restrictions

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App
  • Create derivative works
  • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

8. User Content

8.1 Your Data

You retain ownership of your data (transactions, UPI IDs, etc.). By using the App, you grant us permission to process this data as described in our Privacy Policy.

8.2 Team Content

In Team Mode:

  • Team owners share UPI IDs and alerts with members
  • By creating a team, you consent to this sharing
  • You are responsible for who you invite to your team

9. Third-Party Services

AudioPay uses third-party services including:

  • Google Play (billing, distribution)
  • Firebase (authentication, analytics, notifications)

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

10. Disclaimers

10.1 "As Is" Basis

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

10.2 No Financial Guarantees

We do not guarantee:

  • Accuracy of notification detection
  • Completeness of transaction history
  • Availability of voice alerts

10.3 Not a Financial Service

AudioPay is NOT:

  • A banking application
  • A payment processor
  • A financial advisor

We do not access, store, or process actual payment transactions.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
  • We are not responsible for missed notifications or alerts

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Androxus from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the App
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

We will notify you of significant changes through:

  • In-app notifications
  • App update notes
  • Updates to this page

14. Termination

14.1 By You

You may stop using the App at any time by:

  • Uninstalling the App
  • Canceling your subscription (if applicable)

14.2 By Us

We may terminate or suspend your access:

  • For violation of these Terms
  • For suspected fraudulent activity
  • At our discretion with or without notice

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Androxus regarding the App.
