User Guide¶
Everything LED Flow can do, and how to set it up.
Getting started¶
- Install LED Flow and open it
- Choose your language, then tap Get Started
- On Android 13 and later, you can grant the notifications permission; it's optional and can be skipped
- A one-time Pro offer appears; tap Skip if you don't want to subscribe now (you can upgrade anytime from Settings)
- You'll land on the main screen, with three tabs: Look & Feel, Settings and History
Setting your message¶
Open the Look & Feel tab and type your message under LED Flow Text. This is the text that scrolls across the full-screen display.

Font, colour and pattern¶

Motion¶

Effects¶
- Blink Text - the whole message blinks on and off
- Mirror inversion - flips the display horizontally, so it reads correctly in a mirror or through glass
- Enable High Quality Mode - draws each LED dot individually to mimic a real LED display, instead of just masking the text. On by default; turning it off is lighter on your device
- Enable Glow Effects - adds a glow around each lit dot. Only available while High Quality Mode is also on, and demanding enough that it may cause lag on some devices
- Remove GIF watermark (Pro) - removes the "Created with LED Flow" mark from GIFs you share
Showing the display¶
Tap Start on the main screen to show your message full-screen, in landscape, with the system bars hidden. The display can stay visible even where your screen would otherwise lock.
- Double Tap to Exit, if enabled in Settings (on by default): double-tap the display to return to the app
- Every message you show full-screen is saved to History
- If you're on the free version, a small ad appears in a corner of the display and reloads every couple of minutes
Share as GIF¶
Tap the share button on the main screen to turn your current message into an animated GIF, using one full scroll cycle, and open your device's share sheet.
- The free version adds a small "Created with LED Flow" watermark to the GIF; Pro removes it with Remove GIF watermark in Look & Feel
- A very long message combined with a slow scroll speed can produce a GIF that's too large to share; shorten the text or increase the scroll speed if that happens
- Shared GIFs are temporary; they're removed from your device automatically
History¶
The History tab keeps your last 100 messages, most recent first, stored on your device. Open the menu on any entry to:
- Share it
- Edit it
- Delete it

Free and Pro¶
LED Flow Pro is available as a yearly subscription, a monthly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices, and any free trial, are shown in the app before you buy. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled, and purchases are tied to your Google account, so they restore automatically when you sign in to Google Play with that account.

If a premium font, colour or pattern is in use when your Pro status ends, LED Flow reverts it to a free default automatically.
