Troubleshooting¶

Tapping Start does nothing¶

Force-close LED Flow from your device's recent apps list and reopen it, then try again. Also check you're not already viewing the full-screen display in your recent apps.

The full-screen display turns off or doesn't stay on¶

Battery savers on some phones, especially Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Realme and OnePlus, aggressively manage apps that keep the screen on. Open Android Settings → Apps → LED Flow → Battery, and set it to unrestricted if that option is available.

The display looks dim¶

Check Dim Full Screen After in Settings. If it's set to a short time, the screen dims automatically after that period of inactivity. Tap the display to bring it back to full brightness, or set the option to Never.

Only one GIF can be created at a time; wait for any in-progress one to finish
If you see "GIF would be too large to share," shorten your message or increase Scroll Speed, then try again
Make sure your device has free storage space

Glow effects aren't showing¶

Enable Glow Effects only works while Enable High Quality Mode is also switched on. If the display lags with it on, turn Glow Effects off; it's CPU intensive.

A style change isn't showing on the display¶

Look & Feel changes apply the next time the full-screen display opens. If you change a font, colour, pattern, size or gap, exit the display (if it's open) and tap Start again.

A premium font, colour or pattern reverted to the default¶

Premium options need LED Flow Pro. If your Pro status lapses, for example a cancelled subscription, any premium font, colour or pattern in use reverts automatically to a free default.

I still see ads after buying Pro¶

Ads should disappear as soon as your purchase is confirmed. If they don't, reopen LED Flow, or use Restore Purchases on the upgrade screen.

Reducing the risk of screen burn-in¶

If you display a stationary (non-scrolling) message for long periods, turn on Enable OLED Burn-In Protection in Settings. It periodically nudges the display by a few pixels to reduce the risk of a "ghost" image on OLED screens.
