Action Dot: Assistive Touch

Welcome to the official documentation for Action Dot, a floating button that puts Home, Back, Recent Apps, screenshots and dozens of other shortcuts one tap away — no hardware buttons needed.

What is Action Dot?

Action Dot adds a small floating button — a "dot" — that sits on top of your other apps. Tap it, touch and hold it, or open its menu to run any of 40+ actions: navigation, screenshots and screen recording, silent camera and audio capture, media and volume controls, device toggles and more. Drag the dot anywhere on screen, or let it snap to the nearest edge.

Requirements

Action Dot relies on Android's Accessibility Service to place the floating button and perform actions on your behalf. See the User Guide for setup, and the Privacy Policy for exactly what that service does and does not do.
