Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Handwriter mobile application ("App") operated by Androxus ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Handwriter, you agree to:

  • These Terms of Service
  • Our Privacy Policy
  • All applicable laws and regulations

2. Description of Service

Handwriter is an Android application that:

  • Converts text you type or paste into a page styled to look handwritten, using a font you choose
  • Lets you insert and recolour images on a page
  • Exports your finished page as a PDF, which you can save or share

The App formats text you provide. It does not write, research, or generate the content of your documents for you.

3. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own use, subject to these Terms.

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App, except where that restriction is prohibited by law
  • Redistribute, sell, lease or sublicense the App
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose

4. Your content and responsibility

You are solely responsible for the text, images and fonts you add to a document in the App, and for how you use the finished PDF. You agree not to use the App to:

  • Present handwriting-styled content as work you did not do yourself, where that would violate the rules of a school, employer, examination body or other institution
  • Imitate another person's signature or handwriting for identity, legal or financial purposes
  • Upload a font or image that you do not have the rights to use

Whether a handwriting-styled document is acceptable for a particular purpose, such as a school assignment, is determined by whoever is requesting it, not by Androxus.

5. Permissions and device access

Some features need Android permissions, such as access to your photos and storage, to insert an image, add a custom font, or save and open PDF files. You choose whether to grant them, and you may revoke them at any time in Android Settings; the related feature will stop working until you grant it again.

6. Free and Pro

The App is available at no cost and is supported by advertising. Handwriter Pro is an optional upgrade that, per the App's own description, provides an ad-free experience, removes any page limit, unlocks every handwriting font, and lets you upload your own font file.

  • Purchases are processed by Google Play, not by us
  • Pro is offered as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase; Google Play shows the current price
  • Refunds are governed by the Google Play refund policy
  • We may change the features included in Free or Pro, with notice through app updates
  • Advertising is provided by Google AdMob. See the Privacy Policy

7. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. Features that depend on Android APIs or third-party services may stop working if those services change. We are not liable for such changes.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error free, or compatible with every device or Android version.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Androxus is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Androxus harmless from any claim arising out of your misuse of the App or your breach of these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
