Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Flow Search mobile application ("App") operated by Androxus ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Flow Search, you agree to:

  • These Terms of Service
  • Our Privacy Policy
  • All applicable laws and regulations

2. Description of Service

Flow Search is an Android application that:

  • Provides customisable home screen search widgets
  • Searches the web through a search engine you choose
  • Searches content on your device, including apps, contacts, files and settings
  • Provides configurable buttons for media playback, capture and device controls

The App is provided as a tool. It does not itself operate a search engine, and it does not host or control the results returned by any provider.

3. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own use, subject to these Terms.

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App, except where that restriction is prohibited by law
  • Redistribute, sell, lease or sublicense the App
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose

4. Third-party search providers

The App lets you search using third-party providers including Google, DuckDuckGo, Startpage, Brave Search, Ecosia, Qwant, Swisscows, MetaGer, Mojeek, Baidu, Yandex and Yahoo.jp.

We do not control these services and are not responsible for their results, availability, accuracy or content. Your use of any provider is governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them.

5. Permissions and device access

Some features require Android permissions, including accessibility access, notification listener access and screen capture. You choose whether to grant them, and you may revoke them at any time in Android Settings.

You are responsible for how you use features that act on your device or capture its screen. Do not use screen recording or screenshots to capture content you do not have the right to capture.

6. Free and Pro

The App is available at no cost with a limited number of widget buttons and search engines, and is supported by advertising shown inside the App's own screens. Flow Search Pro unlocks additional buttons, unlocks all search engines and removes advertising.

  • Purchases are processed by Google Play, not by us
  • Refunds are governed by the Google Play refund policy
  • We may change the features included in Free or Pro, with notice through app updates
  • Advertising is provided by Google AdMob and is subject to your consent. See the Privacy Policy

7. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. Features that depend on Android APIs or third-party services may stop working if those services change. We are not liable for such changes.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error free, or compatible with every device, launcher or Android version.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Androxus is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Androxus harmless from any claim arising out of your misuse of the App or your breach of these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Google, Android, Material You and Google Play are trademarks of Google LLC. Flow Search is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google LLC or by any search provider named in these Terms.
