Welcome to the official documentation for Flow Search, a search bar widget for your Android home screen that you design yourself.


Flow Search puts a customisable search bar on your home screen. You choose the colour, the size, the style and the buttons, then search the web, your apps, your files and your contacts from that one bar.

Quick Start

  1. Install Flow Search from Google Play
  2. Long press an empty area of your home screen and tap Widgets
  3. Find Flow Search in the widget list and drag your preferred size onto the home screen
  4. Pick your buttons and colours in the setup screen that opens
  5. Tap the bar to search

Requirements

  • Android 7.0 or later
  • Works on phones and tablets

Some buttons need additional permissions, which the app requests only when you add that specific button. See the User Guide for the full list.
